Calling all high school athletic coaches, athletic directors and physical education professionals in the state of Washington! Think outside the lines to expand your coaching skill set at the Mariners OnBASE 5-Tool Coaches training on June 18, 2019 at T-Mobile Park. The event will be hosted by Mike Salk of 710 ESPN Seattle’s Brock & Salk show.
Learn from industry experts how to implement strategic approaches to foster safe spaces for all young athletes. In the three hour clinic, you can become a “5-Tool Coach” by exploring topics from respecting diversity in a team environment, promoting gender equality in sports and how to foster inclusive spaces for the LGBTQIA community.
Admission includes three hours of training from professionals at the University of Washington Athletic Department, Harborview Center for Sexual Assault and Traumatic Stress, Coaching Boys Into Men/Athletes as Leaders, and the Garfield High School Black Students Union.
